영어원강과 다양한 문화체험으로 외국인 학생 만족도 높여
2013 forever 토토사이트(HISS:Hanyang International Summer School)가 7월 1일부터 26일까지 총 4주간 진행됐다.

국제화 증진 및 한양대 인지도 향상을 위해 열린 한양국제여름학교(Hanyang International Summer School)는 매년 전 세계에서 온 각국 대학생 350여 명이 참가해 문화교류를 나누는 행사다. 모든 수업은 한양대학교 및 유수대학원 초청교수님들에 의해 영어로 진행되며 프로그램에 참가한 한양인은 영어전용강좌 이수 및 최대 9학점까지 인정받을 수 있다.
2013 forever 토토사이트에서는 한국역사와 문화, 국제마케팅, 동아시아 국제관계, 한국 미디어 산업 등 영어 원강을 비롯해 서울시티투어, 한국민속촌, 보령머드페스티벌 등 문화체험학습 프로그램이 진행됐다.
한국어 공부와 문화체험을 즐기기 위해 2013 한양국제여름학교에 참가한 Hotan Mazrouee(The University of Central Oklahoma)는 “HISS를 통해 전 세계 다양한 친구들과 좋은 선생님들을 만나게 되서 좋았다. 또한 내년 2014 한양국제여름학교에도 등록하고 싶다”고 말했다.
이번 국제여름학교 봉사자로 참여한 김현종(신문방송학과 08학번) 학우는 "외국인 친구들에게 한국에 대한 좋은 인상을 심어주어 그들이 다시 한국을 찾을 수 있게 돕고 싶었다"고 참여 동기를 밝혔다.

| What was your motivation to participate in HISS?
Hotan Mazrouee(The University of Central Oklahoma)- I had already signed up to be an exchange student at Hanyang, and I wanted to take a Korean Language class; also the field trips looked like fun.
Ricky Chan(SUNY at Stony Brook)- My motivation was my brother, I typically didn't think that going to Korea this semester was a good idea due to what was going on with the world conflicts. But my brother insisted and told me how much fun that he had. Also we also had friends who lived there to show us around.
What do you think of HISS?
Ricky Chan- My impression is that it's a great school. I had so much fun. The staff was amazing, they'll help you every step of the way. The classes are a bit fast but what do you expect it’s a summer session. The hill to walk on is horrendous. You need to know the shortcuts. It was a fun experience, school wasn't far from anything. Just a walk away. |
