Korea National Diplomatic Academy Class yields successful final 토토사이트추천 candidates for 2 consecutive years. A total of 3 diplomats continuing from last year

Last year, Kim Shin-bi (Department of Political Science and International Studies, class of '12) passed the 토토사이트추천 for diplomatic candidates for the first time at Hanyang University. Continuing from last year, Seo Jung-eun (Department of Policy Studies, Senior) and Kim Bo-young (Department of Political Science and International Studies, Senior) also brought good news by passing the 토토사이트추천 again.

To become a diplomat, passing three diplomat candidate tests are required. Qualification is given after passing the first test (PSAT, Constitution Law), the second test (a major essay), and the third test (an interview), which are only held once a year. After passing the test, candidates must then study with the Korea National Diplomatic Academy for another year. To apply for the diplomatic candidate test, the applicants must attain an 870 score or higher in TOEIC or TOFLE, acquire level 2 in the Korean History Exam, and a certificate for a 2nd Foreign Language.

The Korea National Diplomatic Academy Class of Hanyang University, that Seo and Kim were part of, is a class for students preparing for the diplomatic candidate test. The class supports students in various ways, such as providing 1st and 2nd test internet lectures, conducting PSAT practice tests every month, reviewing and commenting on 2nd test answers, providing scholarships and more. The class also provides locations for students to study, such as opening a space to create a group to help each other review their studies, using dormitories, opening self-study rooms, and more.

토토사이트추천 had many interests in countries abroad starting from a young age, even visiting France as an exchange student during her university years. At the time, it was the 130th year of Korea and France's Establishment of Diplomatic Relations. Seo visited and saw the events that were held by the Korean and French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. At the time, she felt that it would be meaningful to tell people outside of Korea about Korean culture, and to help Koreans abroad have the feeling of Korea, and decided to prepare to become a diplomat. Seo reminisced, "I was not able to pass the test last year, although I tried my best. When I passed the 2nd test this year, I was glad to take one step further towards my dream."

Seo remarked that the hardest time was when she felt like nothing had changed from the day before. "Like all the other tests, it was hard to go through every day," and she had to overcome the adversity, she "took a long-term view when preparing for the test, and looked back on how much she had developed from the very first time that she began preparing for the test, and found new energy to study again." Seo also thanked the instructing professor Eun Yong-Su of the Department of Political Science and International Studies. "I was very thankful when the professor spokke to me regularly, and told me that they believed in me. Because of these times, I was able to try to be the best on every test that I have taken. Thank you."

She found 'not losing the faith' as the very reason why she was able to pass the test. She studied with a mindset that she would eventually reach the end, despite the speed of development. She also mentioned the support of her family as another reason for passing the test. She always talked to her family members whenever she was having a hard time emotionally, and it became an opportunity for her to calm her mind. Seo added that "passing the test is still surreal to me," and said that "it makes me very happy to see my parents relieved by the fact that I have passed the test."

She also sent words of encouragement to other Hanyanginans wanting to become a diplomat. "Not forgetting the will that you once had of becoming a diplomat, and taking one step at a time will eventually lead you to your dream," she said. Her goal is to become a diplomat to promote the strong cultural assets of Korea and increasing the country's stance in the world.

Ms. Kim Bo-young, "Feedback became the stepping stones to who I am now."

Kim always had an interest in serving the public. She always wanted to work not only for personal interest, but also for other people, groups, and the country. When she was in high school and university, she had a chance to visit the U.S. and Spain and realized that she wanted to let people know more about Korea. She also hoped that the status of Korea for those people would become higher. Kim found this year to be her hardest year. "I prepared for the test, thinking that it was my last year preparing for the test, and then the 1st test was postponed due to COVID-19. It was very discouraging. As the 2nd test was also postponed and my preparation time also became longer, it became more exhaustive."

Kim also mentioned that it still feels unreal that she had passed the test. "Not only myself, but also my parents and siblings are feeling very proud of me. I also give special thanks to Professor Eun and Assistant Professor Jin Hye-ran, as well as to the students of Korea National Diplomatic Academy Class students that cheered me up," she said. Her new goal is to prepare for graduation, until her entrance to the education center in January, by finishing her final exams.

The core factor that allowed Kim to pass the test, she said, was the feedback that she received from the Korea National Diplomatic Academy Class. She corrected her answers after receiving Professor Eun's responses, and was encouraged by the seniors that already passed the test. She also used feedback that she received during group study with her classmates. Kim believes that learning each other's positive aspects created synergy. She reminisced about the Korea National Diplomatic Academy Class, saying that "the feedback I received from the class allowed me to have better answers on the test, and the compliments that I received became the stepping stones that kept me in the right mindset."

Kim also sent a hopeful message to those that are preparing to become a diplomat, "when facing slumps while studying, thinking about 'why I chose to become a diplomat in the first place' will help to lead you to a good result." Her dream is to become a diplomat that 'does not lose her original intention.' In her goals for the future, she said, "I will become a diplomat that never forgets the longing I had of becoming a diplomat, and the mindset that I wanted to serve the country and the people."
