T레프리 토토사이트 third story in t레프리 토토사이트 “HanChingChan: A Series Honoring t레프리 토토사이트 Unsung Members of Our Hanyang Community"
레프리 토토사이트 donation: A selfless act that benefits the individual, others, and society at large
“It’s a blessing to use a healthy body for those in need of 레프리 토토사이트”

Hanyang University students and faculty find their own ways to live out the university’s founding philosophy—“Love in deed and truth.” Some take that commitment literally by sharing their own blood. We sat down with three individuals who have made blood donation part of their lives: Kim Tae-hyun (Department of Life Science, 3rd year), Park Chan-young (Master’s student in Nursing), and Professor Lee Jong-ho (Sport Industry Major, Institute for Future Talents).
55 레프리 토토사이트s: Kim Tae-hyun

Kim has donated 레프리 토토사이트 55 times to date and was recently awarded a commendation for his contributions. He first walked into a 레프리 토토사이트 donation center as a high school freshman, curious and a little nervous. What he found was a profound sense of fulfillment in being able to help others.

Kim tries to donate every two weeks whenever he has free time between classes. “At first it can be scary, but there’s really nothing to worry about,” he said. “Trying it just once can be a valuable and rewarding experience.”
레프리 토토사이트 donations are especially critical for patients with cancer or liver conditions. For donors, regular 레프리 토토사이트 tests and small rewards add up to make this a mutually beneficial act of service.
Now pursuing his undergraduate degree in life science, Kim dreams of one day contributing to society through both science and service. “I want to grow as a donor—my next goal is to reach 100 donations,” he said with determination.
202 레프리 토토사이트s: Park Chan-young
A Nursing graduate student at Hanyang, Park Chan-young has been giving back to society through 레프리 토토사이트 donation for over a decade. Inspired by his father, who was also a 레프리 토토사이트 donor, Park began volunteering at a donation center in high school.
His first donation came in his freshman year of high school. “Once I actually tried it, I realized it wasn’t so bad—and from then on, I kept going,” he said. By the time he graduated high school, he had already donated 50 times. Today, that number has passed 200.

For Park, blood donation is the most direct and tangible form of giving. “It’s a blessing to use a healthy body for someone who needs blood,” he said. “It makes me proud to be doing something helpful for society, and that sense of continuity is what keeps me going.”
In addition to more than 200 donations, Park has volunteered over 2,000 hours in blood donation campaigns. “It’s rare to find a type of volunteer work where you can so clearly see the results of your efforts. That’s what makes blood donation so unique,” he said.
“Some forms of service take time and reflection to understand their value, but blood donation allows anyone to make an immediate difference,” he continued. “For those working in healthcare or who’ve had sick loved ones, the meaning is even more profound.”

Park’s goal is to remain healthy and continue donating blood. Just as his initial attempt led to 202 donations, he aspires to live as someone who brings about small but meaningful changes in the world. “I want to do my best in what I can do and spread positive influence,” he said. “I hope our society becomes one that strives for greater understanding and empathy.”
408 레프리 토토사이트s: Professor Lee Jong-ho
Professor Lee Jong-ho’s journey began nearly 50 years ago as a youth member of the Red Cross. Since then, he has donated blood an astonishing 408 times. Life experiences—both painful and inspiring—only strengthened his commitment.
He recalls not being able to donate to his father, who had leukemia, due to incompatible blood types. Watching student donors line up to help in his place left a lasting impression. In 2006, his wife and two daughters were seriously injured in a bus accident. “Seeing them recover with help from blood donors made me realize that I wanted to do the same for others,” he said.

Lee now donates plasma every two weeks and aims to reach 500 donations before the age cutoff of 69. “A single donation can save up to three lives,” he noted. “I was born healthy—I believe I should use that health to help others.”

“I hope more members of the Hanyang community take interest in blood donation,” he said in closing, emphasizing practicing love through blood donation.
