Achievement Awards go to former Yonhap News Agency CEO Park Jung-chan and former Chosun Education Culture & Media CEO Keum Kyo-don

The Hanyang University Graduate School of Journalism and Mass Communication(Han Dong-sub as Dean) and its General Alumni Association(Lee Young-man as President) have announced Kim Ki-jeong, President of the Korea Internet Newspaper Association, and Kim Ho-sang, CEO of KT ENA, as the recipients of the ‘2025 Hanyang Pride Journalist Award.’

In addition, this year’s Achievement Awards were presented to Park Jung-chan, former President of Yonhap News and Yonhap News TV, and Keum Kyo-don, former CEO of Chosun Education Culture & Media, for their dedication to the development of the Graduate School's alumni association.

The ‘Hanyang Pride Journalist Award’ is presented annually to alumni of the Graduate School of Journalism and Mass Communication who have achieved outstanding accomplishments and exerted significant influence in their respective fields, thereby enhancing the honor of the university.

Having served as a reporter for Kukmin Daily and CEO of Kuki News, he also held the position of President of the Korea Online Newspaper Association. He is currently the CEO of Environment TV and Green Post Korea, leading various innovations in the digital media landscape.

He worked as an entertainment PD at KBS for over 30 years, directing numerous popular programs such as Vitamin, Gag Concert, and the Korea Again: Na Hoon-a special. After serving as the Director of the KBS Ulsan Broadcasting Station, he currently leads the expansion of the OTT and content industry as the CEO of KT ENA.

The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on December 9 at 7:00 PM at the Heritage Hall on the 6th floor of the 해외 토토사이트 순의 University Alumni Association Building located on Majo-ro, Seongdong-gu, Seoul.

Since its establishment in 1983, the Hanyang University Graduate School of Journalism and Mass Communication has produced over 1,300 graduates active in key sectors such as media, culture, politics, and the economy, establishing itself as one of the nation’s top-tier specialized graduate schools.
