T3x3 토토사이트 essence of media does not change

Sohn Suk-hee opened the lecture by saying, “Some people refer to me as the last representative of legacy media, but in reality, I am also quite familiar with the digital generation.” He introduced himself as “the first person to livestream news on the Daum portal” and mentioned that after the news program, he would post off-the-record conversations with reporters on YouTube, pioneering the integration of legacy media with digital media.
He emphasized that legacy media and digital media cannot be disconnected. “Even as times change, the essence of media remains the same,” he said, before commenting on the rapidly changing media environment. He pointed out that “mass media had enormous influence over the public, but YouTube has broken this order,” acknowledging that “it is undeniable that the world now revolves around YouTube and Netflix.”
At the same time, he expressed concern about the growing trend, stating, “The contradictions inherent in human affairs have not been solved by devices; rather, they have been propagated by them.”
What will be the end of media’s changes?
Sohn Suk-hee pointed out that “people have become accustomed to short-form content, and the flow of thinking has changed drastically,” and asked the audience, “How will the changes in the media ecosystem unfold?”
One of the students in the Graduate School of Journalism and Mass Communication responded, “If this situation persists, democracy will eventually disappear. If confirmation bias continues to spread and people only believe in their own arguments, social inclusion will vanish, and democratic decision-making will decline.”

When Sohn Suk-hee asked, “There aren’t only such people in the world, are there?” the student explained, “If the middle ground for confirmation bias continues to widen, the overall atmosphere in society will be influenced.”
In response, Sohn Suk-hee emphasized, “We need to create a framework to address such concerns” and highlighted the importance of media criticism, adding, “Education will be crucial, and media will have a definite role.”

He added, “In today’s age, where news is overflowing, even if a certain news topic is important, it can be overshadowed by other stories. Therefore, agenda setting is crucial.” He also advised the audience, “If you decide to pursue a career in journalism, you should focus on making important news engaging and making engaging content important.”
If retuning to Newsroom

After the lecture, a member of the audience raised a question. The student, who mentioned working at the same company as Sohn Suk-hee during his time as a newsroom anchor, asked, “I believe we are living in an era where the authenticity of news has been compromised. If you were to return to Newsroom, how would you operate it?”
Sohn Suk-hee explained that both YouTube and cable broadcasting, as well as even terrestrial television, are following digital trends. He emphasized, “Legacy media and new media should collaborate.” He argued that the immediacy of news provided by legacy media and the ability to engage in deeper discourse offered by new media should complement each other.
A student from the Business Administration department expressed concerns, saying, “In a world filled with fake news, it’s hard to know what to believe.” Sohn Suk-hee responded, “It’s important to take the time to verify the facts,” and added, “If you listen to those who speak with dignity, their opinions are more likely to be factual.”
After the lecture, Han Dong-sub, the Dean of the Graduate School of Journalism and Mass Communication, stated, “Hanyang University aims to provide the highest level of education that differentiates it from other universities. Sohn Suk-hee is one of the most trusted journalists in Korea, and it is only natural to provide students with the opportunity to engage in discussions with the best in the field.”
