Hanyang University ranked first in the university brand evaluation category of the ‘2025 INUE·KED University Evaluation,’ as assessed by corporate leaders nationwide. This reflects recognition of Hanyang University’s excellence by the industrial sector which emphasizes practical competence and industry-academia collaboration.

The evaluation was jointly conducted by INUE and Korea Economic Daily, surveying about 5,000 members from June to August. The brand competitiveness assessment, based on the ‘level of recognition and preference,’ measures universities' soft power by reflecting student experience, social image, and corporate preference, unlike traditional, quantitative-focused university rankings. Companies selected Hanyang University as the ‘Most Excellent University,’ showing high levels of trust in its real-world problem-solving skills, field-oriented education, and employment linkage. This selection is considered the positive impact of Hanyang’s long-standing educational philosophy focusing on cultivating practical talent and institutional efforts to invigorate industry-academia cooperation.

Hanyang University has also shown steady progress internationally, ranking eighth domestically in the 2026 THE World University Rankings. The selection in company preference ranking holds significant meaning, signaling competitiveness in both objective evaluation indicators and brand image.
