Hanyang University’s baseball team will appear on the JTBC sports entertainment program A Clean Sweep, airing at 9:50 p.m. on October 27. The team will go head-to-head against Monsters, composed of famous retired KBO League players including Lee Jong-beom and Kim Tae-kyun. The show features legendary former professional athletes in baseball competing in real games against top amateur teams from high schools and universities, making it one of JTBC’s most popular sports reality programs.

Hanyang University’s baseball team, a powerhouse in collegiate baseball, won the 80th National Collegiate Baseball Championship earlier this year. With a record of 37 national collegiate titles, the team has long been recognized as one of the country’s most prestigious university teams. The team also proved its strength in the 2025 KBO Rookie Draft, producing two professional players—Seo Joon-oh and Shim Geon-bo.
