The Seventeen Hearts Festival is the signature social innovation festival of Hanyang University, sharing the outcomes of the university’s curricular and extracurricular social innovation programs based on the United Nations’ 2015 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The participants of the festival include not only the members of the university, but also younger generations in Korea and from abroad, as well as practitioners and experts in the social innovation ecosystem.

Launched in 2016, the Seventeen Hearts Festival has maintained its legacy even during the COVID-19 years of 2019–21 by transitioning to an online event, and this year marks its tenth anniversary. The festival is expected to both look back on a decade of social innovation at Hanyang—epitomized by the theme of 'Changemakers who Change the World'—and play a pivotal role in establishing Vision 2.0 for the next wave of Hanyang’s social innovation, driven by 'Futuremakers who Change the Future.'

The event will be held from the 15th to the 19th across a range of venues on Seoul Campus—including the Lion Statue Plaza, Hanyang Institute of Technology(HIT) Conference Room, International Conference Room on the 6th floor of the Paiknam Academic Information Center & Library, and the HEAT Room in the Main Administrative Building—as well as at the Faculty Lounge and Lion’s Lake on ERICA Campus. At Seoul Campus, a variety of social innovation booths and talk concerts for Futuremakers will be featured, along with commemorative events such as 'Hanyang Social Innovation 10th Anniversary Next Impact Forum,' 'Interdisciplinary Skills Learning for Futuremakers with Kakao Tech for Impact,' 'Root-Impact Impact Basecamp,' and 'MYSC Local Engagement.'

At ERICA Campus, the program includes the Hanyang Community Service Partner Institution MOU Ceremony, Intercultural Panel Discussions, the Intercultural City International Symposium, and spaces and booths for sharing achievements. On the final day, September 19, a '2025 Collective Impact Forum' will be held at the International Conference Room on the 6th floor of the Paiknam Academic Information Center & Library on Hanyang University Seoul Campus, in partnership with World Vision, Innocean, Gyeonggi Provincial Social Economy Center, and Anseong Medical Cooperative.
