On June 23, Hanyang University and Seokgyeong Medical Foundation’s Central Hospital held a signing ceremony for an “Educational Partnership Hospital MOU” at the conference room on the second floor of the Seoul Main Administration Building. The event was attended by Lee Ki-jeong, President of Hanyang University; Kim Byeong-geun, Chairman of Seokgyeong Medical Foundation; and Yoon Ho-joo, Director of Hanyang University Medical Center.

Through this agreement, the two institutions will collaborate in various areas, including ▲ concurrent appointments of hospital medical staff as full-time faculty at Hanyang University and as clinical faculty at the hospital, ▲ joint implementation of clinical and research projects, ▲ cooperation in medical personnel training and education, and ▲ support for facilities and personnel related to clinical education.

In his welcoming remarks, President Lee stated, “This agreement marks a starting point where both institutions can create synergy and spread a patient-centered medical culture. I expect this educational partnership with Central Hospital will not only advance the medical field but also contribute greatly to promoting public health.” Director Yoon added, “The Medical Center will actively support the establishment of a true cooperative system so that this agreement goes beyond a formal partnership and becomes a meaningful collaboration.”

In response, Chairman Kim said, “As we embark on this new journey as an educational partner hospital of Hanyang University, we will build an advanced medical system that integrates clinical care, education, and research beyond simply being a treatment facility.”
