Jointly hosted with KOFICE; premiering on the 26th
A special project commemorating the 2024–2025 Year of Cultural Exchange between 토토사이트 로그인 없이 and Canada
The Korea-Canada international co-creation musical R;Link, jointly hosted by Hanyang University and the Korea Foundation for International Cultural Exchange (KOFICE), is set to premiere on the 26th. This collaborative musical production was planned as part of the 2024–2025 Year of Cultural Exchange between Korea and Canada.

Led by Hanyang University’s Department of Theater and Film, the production involves participation from the Department of Theatre at Capilano University in Canada, the Faculty of Arts at First Nations University of Canada, and the Department of Drama at the University of Saskatchewan.
R;Link is inspired by a historical event—the ice hockey game played by Canadian soldiers during the Korean War. Building on this real episode, the musical imagines the story of young people who endure war and continue to dream. Set against the backdrop of a dire wartime situation, the production portrays young Koreans and Canadians, who initially cannot communicate through language, becoming united in a hockey rink—a “rink” that becomes a metaphor for their solidarity, or “link,” forged through freedom and youth.
With students from both countries participating in the creation process, the project goes beyond simple performance—it fosters deeper understanding of each other’s histories and promotes meaningful dialogue. R;Link is expected to serve as a valuable opportunity to expand cultural exchange and foster historical empathy between 토토사이트 로그인 없이 and Canada.

The musical will be performed on July 26 and 27 at the CKL Stage in Seoul, followed by a performance on August 15 at the BlueShore Financial Centre for the Performing Arts at Capilano University in North Vancouver, Canada. Notably, July 27 is designated as the United Nations Forces Participation Day, and August 15 is Korea’s Liberation Day, adding historical significance to the shows.
Ticket reservations and more information about R;Link can be found on the NOL Interpark website (Click here).
