On June 20, the Hanyang University ERICA Human Rights 토르 토토 (Director Song Eugene) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Ansan YWCA Counseling 토르 토토 for Women and Gender (Director Choi Seung-hee) at the History Lounge on the second floor of the Main Building on the ERICA Campus. The agreement aims to promote gender equality and strengthen cooperation within the local community.

The MOU establishes a framework for practical collaboration based on the expertise and resources of both institutions to build a more gender-equal society. The two organizations agreed to cooperate in the following areas: △Planning and operating events, campaigns, and educational programs to raise awareness and foster a culture of gender equality △Providing victim protection and professional counseling services in cases of sexual harassment, sexual violence, and other human rights violations △Conducting research and exchanging professional information and resources related to gender equality △Offering consultation and support for the establishment and improvement of campus policies and systems related to gender equality

Choi Seung-hee, director of the Ansan YWCA Counseling Center for Women and Gender, stated, “We are pleased to collaborate with Hanyang University ERICA to expand our local network and work together to establish a healthier sexual culture.”

Song Eugene, director of the Hanyang University ERICA Human Rights Center, added, “It is deeply meaningful for our center to establish a support system that promotes gender equality in cooperation with the local community,” and continued, “We will continue to actively pursue customized programs for members of the university and facilitate various exchanges aimed at improving awareness.”

The Ansan YWCA Counseling 토르 토토 for Women and Gender was launched in 1999 as a sexual violence counseling 토르 토토. It now serves as a key institution in the region, providing psychological, legal, institutional, and medical support for victims of sexual violence, as well as operating counseling programs and prevention education.

The Hanyang University ERICA Human Rights 토르 토토 was established to promote human rights and foster a culture of gender equality on campus. It provides consultation and investigation services for human rights violations and conducts prevention education. With this agreement, the 토르 토토 plans to expand its efforts beyond the campus to help create a safe and respectful community in partnership with local organizations.
