Hanyang University held an entrance ceremony for the Global CEO (HGCEO) course in Los Angeles, California in the United States, on July 14.
The HGCEO course is a CEO course to learn about business management through diverse real cases, which was first established in LA Orange Country, California in the United States in 2013. Except for last year, which was difficult to hold the course due to COVID-19, it is held every year and the 8th students was welcomed in 2020. 15-30 graduates are chosen each year and around 150 HGCEO alumni were chosen until the 7th students in 2019.
This year, to overcome the unfortunate halt in recruiting the 8th students due to COVID-19, all courses are transferred into online live video lectures. Therefore, students can combine on and offline courses to take lectures that are most comfortable for them. Additionally, the popularity of the course was confirmed through the numerous students from Texas and Arizona who registered for the course.
The entrance ceremony was celebrated and honored by HGCEO alumni president Roh Sang-il and HYU President Kim Woo-seung.
