Various anniversary events held across campus
From free special meals to guest chef programs and snack giveaways, the day offered something for everyone

On Thursday, May 15, Hanyang University marked its 86th anniversary with a campus-wide celebration that brought the entire community together. Designed as an inclusive festival, the day’s events featured hands-on programs and shared meals for all.

The festivities began with a snack giveaway hosted by Seven Eleven (also known as “When the Lion Snacks”), followed by a free special meal served at the student cafeteria on the 3rd floor of Hanyang Plaza, where 1,200 meals were distributed. At the Korean restaurant “24 Seasons” in HIT, the university invited fifteen families to enjoy a “One Family, One Table” experience with a Michelin-starred chef. Here’s a glimpse of the celebration through photos captured across campus.
