Professor Paik Un-gyu(Department of Energy Engineering) has been appointed as an Editor-in-Chief of EES Batteries, an international academic journal published by the Royal Society of Chemistry(RSC). EES Batteries is a sister journal of the world-renowned journal Energy & Environmental Science(EES) and aims to become a leading publication specializing in batteries and energy storage.

Building on the reputation and impact of EES, EES Batteries publishes influential, high-quality research across a wide range of fields, including chemistry, physics, materials science, engineering, computational or theoretical science, and policy. Professor Paik will serve as the only Korean editor-in-chief among all RSC-published journals.
