She added, "The experience of carrying out a planning and development project as a team was a great help to my performance."

During her internship period, Lee worked on developing an algorithm to measure the respiratory rate and heart rate of a sleeping person using a given IR-UWB sensor. She referenced papers on signal processing methodology and implemented a 'Python' program to increase the alignment accuracy with 'ground truth’ data. On top of that, she was also on tasks such as analyzing temperature and humidity time-series data and visualizing psychrometric charts in various ways.

The most challenging aspect of the internship for Lee was finding her own role. It was difficult to be sure if the task she is on was actually needed. The solution Lee found was a self-directed attitude and repetitive reporting. She stated, "I did my work by organizing the feasibility of the project and then going through reporting and feedback."

The effort led to growth. Lee said, "My communication skills grew significantly thanks to the team meetings." She mentioned, "I wrote a weekly work log and held a final performance presentation," and "I learned how to systematically organize my work achievements."

The internship program offered specialized programs to the participants, including mentoring, marketing education, and observing IR(Investor Relations) sessions. Lee said, "Observing an external Demo Day was the most helpful." A Demo Day is an event where companies present their services or products to investors. Lee explained the reason, saying, "I was able to gain insight into the business design method, presentation materials, and style of successful startups." Seeing the value of technology-based entrepreneurship, she expressed her aspiration: "I want to build my capabilities through working experience at a company and then challenge myself with a technology-based startup."

Through the program, Lee broadened her perspective on entrepreneurship. She closely observed the ideation and execution process of large corporation employees starting businesses, as well as the efforts of spun-off companies to consider sustainability. By simultaneously observing the thoughts of working professionals and the corporate support backing them, she was able to grasp the bigger picture of the startup field. She recommended the internship to students who "want to understand the overall flow of entrepreneurship."

Finally, Lee advised Hanyang students considering the internship, "It is important to think ahead about the business direction of the startup you apply to and possible tasks you can take."
