Hanyang Univesity Brain Korea 21(hereafter BK21)'s "Transformation Tourism Education -research team for Homo Hundred Era (team leader Professor Kim Nam-jo, Department of Tourism)" and a Hanyang University Tourism Research Institute's affiliated organization 'Happiness Travel Research Center' (team leader Professor Lee Hun of the Department of Tourism, hereafter HTRC) have planned a special issue of <Journal of Tourism Studies> (Volume 34, No. 1, No. 70, special issue of 'Journal of Tourism Studies') that collected research achievements from outstanding researchers nationwide.

In this special issue, top-class researchers participated including former and current chairmen of the Tourism Sciences Society of Korea(TOSOK), Editor-in-chief of the Journal of Tourism Sciences, TOSOK's chairperson of the Regional Tourism Committee, winner of the 90th TOSOK's Emerging Research Session, and director of the Aviation Management Society of Korea(AMSOK). Specifically, papers on various topics such as the development of an integrated conversion tourism model, the concept of wellness experience, tourism research paradigm and knowledge production, transitional service research paradigm, the analysis of the policy results of supporting startups in the tourism industry, airport service quality perception analysis through big data analysis, and discovering future research topics for smart tourism.

Meanwhile, the Journal of 건담 토토사이트 Studies published by the institute has a KCI influence index of 2.08 points in 2020, maintaining the top 1% of academic journals published by university-affiliated research institutes.
