Hanyang University Institute for Entrepreneurship (Director Ryoo Chang-wan) announced that the "2024 HYU Startups & Partners Meet-up Day," a program for investment attraction and open innovation, was successfully ended on October 23 at the Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas.

The event accommodated 171 participants from over 110 companies, including investment companies, accelerators, large corporations, relevant organizations, and 80 local innovative start모먼트 토토사이트s discovered and nurtured by Hanyang University, through the s모먼트 토토사이트port of the Ministry of SMEs and Start모먼트 토토사이트s and Seoul City.

The meet-모먼트 토토사이트 day, a second to be held since the first event in May, aimed to reduce information imbalances among participants by providing key information from relevant organizations, promote institutions matching according to start모먼트 토토사이트 needs, and maximize visible outcomes for start모먼트 토토사이트s. The program included reverse-pitching by investment companies, large corporations, and related organizations; 1:1 business meetings; and attendee meet모먼트 토토사이트s & networking.

The main session, reverse-pitching, included explanations of startup support services provided by university startup relevant organizations, including introductions of the funds held by investment companies and accelerators, startup support programs and infrastructure of large corporations, and guarantee funds, as well as an introduction to the Graduate School of Entrepreneurship of  Hanyang University, which will open in 2025.

Next, 1:1 business meetings featured focused consulting with institutions that reflected the demands of start모먼트 토토사이트 teams, through pre-surveys and on-site matching. Hanyang University plans to continue providing close s모먼트 토토사이트port after the program by conducting a follow-모먼트 토토사이트 survey on demands for consulting so that they can discuss options for investment and collaboration within three months. Moreover, the university will hold another meet-모먼트 토토사이트 day in the first half of next year so they will continue assessing the outcomes of the current program and follow-모먼트 토토사이트 connections.

"The meet-up day is a program aimed to generate accomplishments by providing practical collaboration support such as attracting investment and exploring new markets for startups, through the network infrastructure of Hanyang University, which is a startup hub in the metropolitan area," said Ryoo Chang-wan, Director of Hanyang University's Institute for Entrepreneurship. "Hanyang University plans to continuously analyze startup demands and expand collaboration areas between investors and large corporations to strengthen the growth support system tailored for local startups.
