Hanyang University ERICA (President Lee Ki-jeong) announced that Cosmoq Co., Ltd., a faculty startup founded by Jang Beom-jin from the Department of Robotics, won the grand prize at the “2025 16th Venture Camp Demo Day” (Daymody) hosted by the Korea Technology Finance Corporation (KIBO).

The event took place on June 24 at Gangnam Tipstown in Seoul, where only 10 companies among 75 promising startups selected by KIBO were given the opportunity to pitch on stage in a highly competitive environment. Cosmoq received the highest evaluation for its development of an inline magnetic property analysis system aimed at improving MRAM manufacturing efficiency, earning it the top honor.

The KIBO Venture Camp is a flagship program aligned with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ policies to support entrepreneurs. It discovers and nurtures promising startups every year, collaborating with private accelerators to help them grow into “star ventures.”

CEO Jang Beom-jin stated, “This award confirms the market’s trust in Cosmoq’s technological capabilities. We will continue to lead in smart manufacturing technology through ongoing R&D and investment attraction, contributing to enhancing the competitiveness of the semiconductor industry.”

Through this award, Cosmoq has laid the foundation for attracting further investment and expanding into the global market, and it is expected to strengthen its position within Korea’s startup ecosystem moving forward.
