Hanyang University held the “2023 Global Hanyang University Alumni Reunion” in Dallas, Texas, United States, for four days starting October 20 (local time).

The “Global Hanyang University Alumni Reunion,” now in its 29th year, is a festival that brings together Hanyang alumni around the world. About 160 Hanyang alumni living in the United States and Canada, among others, attended the event, which was held overseas for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic. At the event, the alumni pledged to bond. 

The event included a tour of major tourist attractions in Dallas, a central city of Texas, as well as a friendly golf tournament, Paiknam concert, and dinner.

“For the past 84 years, Hanyang has made remarkable achievements through the ‘practice of love' based on the virtues of hard work, honesty, humility, and service,” said Hanyang President Lee Ki-jeong at a dinner held at Coyote Ridge Golf Club in Texas on the night of the 22nd (local time), “ … and at the center of it all are our proud 370,000 alumni.”

“Hanyang has achieved remarkable growth thanks to its alumni who are unquestionably working hard around the world,” said Son Yong-geun, President of the Alumni Association. “We look forward to seeing this event evolve and further strengthen the bonds of Hanyang alumni around the world.”

Meanwhile, the 2024 Global 가상 스포츠토토 University Alumni Reunion will move the stage to Korea and will be held in Seoul.
