The advancement of 토토사이트 w technology is expanding the traditional boundaries of various fields. In response, Hanyang University is establishing convergence programs to break down academic barriers and cultivate new talent.

The Integrated Major in "Digital Innovation Strategy" and "Data-Driven Service Design" have been offering courses that enhance digital capabilities since they were first introduced in Spring 2024. To learn more about the converged major, we spoke with Professor Kwon Gyu-hyun of the Department of Technology Management, who teaches "Digital Innovation Strategy," and Professor Han Ji-eun of the Department of Technology Management, who leads "Data-Driven Service Design."

These two converged majors are part of the School of Interdisciplinary Industrial Studies at Hanyang University and offer undergraduate students access to the extensive research conducted at the Graduate School of Technology and Innovation Management. "In the past, the focus was on developing a single technology, but nowadays, various digital technologies are merging to create entirely new forms," said Professor Kwon, who has also served as Deputy Director of the Startup Support Foundation. "We are working to cultivate talents that are needed in new changes by acting as a bridge between technology experts and business experts.

In particular, for a structured learning experience in digital competency, it is recommended that students take courses in the order of 200, 300, and 400 levels. Professor Kwon advised, "For students new to digital innovation studies, I recommend first taking 200-level courses such as Digital Technology Strategy and Introduction to Data Analytics."

To keep up with the rapidly changing world, the converged majors offer a variety of new courses. "AI Design Prototyping," which was opened in Fall 2024 as part of the Department of "Data-Driven Service Design," explores innovation in user experience using AI and advanced technologies.

A prototype is a test version of a product created for testing purposes during the development of a product, while prototyping refers to the actual process of 토토사이트 wing and developing such a model. In the field of service 토토사이트 w, prototyping plays a crucial role as it involves 토토사이트 wing and planning the user experience.

"In particular, in fields related to prototyping, important is a comprehensive planning capability that integrates data analysis, research, and design skills–something that have traditionally been understood as separate skills," Professor Han stressed. "We must provide education according to the new curriculum like this converged major."

The "AI Design Prototyping" provides lessons on theories of extended reality and AI for students without prior experience. Furthermore, the course includes workshops and special lectures by experts, where students get to have hands-on experience with cutting-edge XR devices in the prototyping industry.

On November 16, 2024, all students majoring in "Data-Driven Service Design" participated as event staff in the Fall Academic Conference of the Korea Service Design Council, held at Hanyang University. Students explored ethical issues related to the user experience process and studied various industry cases.

As the boundaries between 토토사이트 w technology and industries blur, there is growing attention on convergence talent capable, who are capable of creating new value. Students must quickly acquire knowledge of the latest technologies and cases and apply what they have learned in solving real-world social issues.

To this end, the Major in "Digital Innovation Strategy" and the Major in "Data-Driven Service Design" are nurturing talents, who can prepare for the changing future. These majors focus on fostering integrated thinking which can simultaneously utilize Design Thinking, Computational Thinking, and Systems Thinking. By engaging with experts in industry fields, international forums, and academic conferences, the major programs support students so that they can gain hands-on experience and take initiative in learning.

Professor Han stressed, "In 2025, we will hold an 'Open Day' to introduce the two departments and new courses along with the digital innovation strategy, with details to be posted on the department website, so please stay tuned."
