On January 14, a Convergence Startup Team, consisting of students of the College of 토토사이트 순위 and the College of Engineering Sciences of Hanyang University ERICA, announced that they successfully showcased next-generation innovation technology at CES 2025.

In 2023, Hanayng University ERICA was selected by the New Technology and Integrated Design Innovative Talent Nurturing project, organized by the Korea Institute of Design Promotion, and it has been leading the practice of innovative education by completing the convergence triangle of design, engineering, and business management. In particular, the "intelligent robotics integrated design" project, developed as a part of the project with the collaboration from students at the College of Design and the College of Engineering Sciences, proved innovative potential at CES 2025 with the integration of creative design thinking and advanced technology.

Hanyang University ERICA student startup teams exhibited at CES 2025 include "Smart Pet Plant for City Residents" by Sabasick (Lee Gee-geum, Seo Young-bin) and "Venous Reflux Prevention Solution System Design" by Boho (Son Min-hyung, Park Joon-ho, Choi Yoo-min, Bae So-young, Hwang Seung-hyeop).

The products developed by ERICA student startup teams have gained attention from global industry professionals for their user-centric intuitive interfaces and robust technological foundation. In particular, their products have received positive evaluations thanks to their scalability and market potential. Based on feedback from CES, the teams are enhancing their products with the goal of launching them within this year. They are also preparing to enter the global market through continuous research and development.

Lee Gee-geum, CEO of Sabasick (Department of Robotics), and Son Min-hyung, CEO of Boho (Department of Industrial Design) said, "Through collaboration between people with different majors, we were able to maximize each other's strengths," adding, "The synergy between design and technology was the key to developing innovative solutions."

Meanwhile, through the New Technology and Integrated 토토사이트 순위 Innovative Talent Nurturing project, each semester, Hanyang University ERICA creates a convergence team, consisting of students in 토토사이트 순위, engineering, and business major, and offers programs like global IC-PBL, convergence competitions, hackathons, special lectures, and U.S. internship programs. Moreover, the university facilitates the development of AI robot 토토사이트 순위-based services and provides an education model that breaks down borders between each discipline so that students grow as a convergence talent in various fields. Students' creative ideas are transformed into market-ready prototypes through guidance and support from faculty members. The student products showcased as professional entries at CES 2025 are a direct result of these programs.

"Design is essential for technology to become a product, and marketing is needed for a product to become a commodity," said the research supervisor and Professor Song Ji-sung of the College of Design. "We must identify the limitless potential of students who receive innovative convergence education and provide them with opportunities to grow as global talents."

A researcher of the project and Professor Lee Sun-mi of the College of Design said, "It is rewarding to see students with different majors collaborate on ideas, develop prototypes, commercialize them, and even participate in international exhibitions, all of which opened up immense possibilities for them."
