Hanyang University’s Head Lab (Director Kim Sun-ah), also known as the Hanyang Art + Design Education Center, announced that it will hold an entrance ceremony for the “2025 Ieum Art Creation Academy Creator Program (Professional Art Education)” on July 5 at the Hanyang University Museum. This program is jointly organized with the Korea Disability Arts and Culture Center (KDAC).
The academy aims to provide emerging 토토사이트 라운더스ists with disabilities diverse 토토사이트 라운더스istic experiences and creative opportunities, while helping them strengthen their competencies as professional 토토사이트 라운더스ists through exchange with established creators. Through this program, Hanyang University plans to actively support p토토사이트 라운더스icipants in establishing their own 토토사이트 라운더스istic language and growing independently within the 토토사이트 라운더스 world.
The entrance ceremony will welcome 43 p토토사이트 라운더스icipants who were finally selected through document and portfolio screening as well as interview evaluations. President Lee Ki-jeong of Hanyang University is scheduled to deliver a congratulatory address at the event, cheering on the new beginning of these young 토토사이트 라운더스ists with disabilities. The ceremony will include an introduction to the overall curriculum, help new students understand and prepare for future activities, and provide opportunities to communicate directly with professors and managers from each field.
This academy program, first launched in 2022 and now in its fourth year, offers mentoring and critique-based education tailored to each participant’s artistic style across various disciplines such as fine art, Korean traditional music, literature, and dance. In particular, artist mentors, faculty members, researchers, and field-specific managers will work closely together to deliver customized classes that reflect each participant’s individual needs and aspirations.
Kim Sun-ah, director of Head Lab and professor in the Department of Applied Art Education at Hanyang University, stated, “This academy is not only a valuable opportunity for emerging artists with disabilities to grow into professional artists but also greatly contributes to expanding cultural diversity and inclusivity in our society.”
