Kim Jae-woo (Yacht Club): I’m Kim Jae-woo, a second-year student in the School of Electronic Engineering and a member of the Central Yacht Club.

Park Su-hye (Hycora): I’m Park Su-hye, an executive of Hycora and of the Major in Media Technology in the School of Media, Culture, and Design Technology, Class of 2024.

Baek Ji-won (VIVA): I’m Baek Ji-won, an executive of VIVA and a student in the Department of Robotics.

Tell Us About Your 토토사이트 홍보 커뮤니티 and the Activities Planned for This Year

Kim Jae-woo (Yacht 토토사이트 홍보 커뮤니티): Our Yacht 토토사이트 홍보 커뮤니티 is a non-motorized sailing 토토사이트 홍보 커뮤니티 that relies on wind power to sail rivers and seas. We sail on the Han River every Saturday, except during exam periods, teaching members how to sail. We also visit Pohang during the summer break and Busan in winter.

Park Su-hye (Hycora): Hycora is a programming club with a long tradition. We focus on coding through member study sessions and special lectures from alumni. Besides academics, we hold social events like membership training (MT). Once members have built a solid coding foundation, we create projects based on what we’ve learned and operate a booth for children at Ansan Science Valley. This year, we also plan to develop a game using Python.

Baek Ji-won (VIVA): VIVA is a musical club where we don’t just watch musicals; we create and perform them as well. Our regular activities include the semester-opening performance, Salon de VIVA, where we watch musical broadcasts together, and VIVA Challenge, where we learn and reenact scenes or songs from musicals. We also organize group outings to watch live musicals.

Did You Prepare Anything Special for This Recruitment Event?

Kim Jae-woo (Yacht Club): Since we’re a joint club with members from Hanyang University Seoul Campus, we brought along all the certificates, trophies, and medals we’ve won during our activities!

Baek Ji-won (VIVA): VIVA is preparing a performance titled Escape from the Deserted Island, which will be staged on March 28-29. Since it’s a major production we’ve been preparing for a long time, our recruitment efforts focus on promoting the show.

Kim Jae-woo (Yacht Club): One advantage is meeting people from different departments. I’m the only one from my department in our club, and it’s great to connect with others. Since our club is a joint one with members from Hanyang University Seoul Campus, ERICA, and Hanyang Women’s University, we meet even more diverse people.

Park Su-hye (Hycora): The biggest perk of being in a central club is having a comfortable club room. We recently remodeled our club room and replaced the chairs, which is important for coders who spend long hours sitting. Another plus is the collaborative atmosphere—since members have varying coding skills, we learn from and support each other.

What Do You Think Is the Most Important Factor When Choosing a 토토사이트 홍보 커뮤니티?

Kim Jae-woo (Yacht Club): I think it’s all about finding ‘nangman’ (romance). I joined the Yacht Club purely for that romantic spirit, and I can guarantee you’ll find plenty of it here!

Baek Ji-won (VIVA): I believe it’s essential to follow your interests and preferences. Some students join three or four clubs at first, but eventually, they settle on the one that suits them best. Choose a club that you’ll enjoy and stick with for the long haul.

Kim Jae-woo (Yacht Club): There’s a famous saying: “With just a white sail and the wind, you can go anywhere.” That perfectly captures the spirit of our Yacht Club.

Park Su-hye (Hycora): A “romantic coding club” where we code and have fun together. While we do focus on studies, we also put a lot of effort into building camaraderie, making it a surprisingly laid-back club.

Baek Ji-won (VIVA): I’d say “romantic.” Putting on a musical takes a lot of time and effort, and some might not understand why we do it. But we do it because we love it, and the entire process of preparing and performing on stage is pure romance to us.

Any Words of Advice for Future Members?

Kim Jae-woo (Yacht Club): Don’t be intimidated! We’ll teach you how to sail, and you’ll have a great time discovering the joy and romance of sailing. Also, our club is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, so it’s the perfect time to join us and be part of something special.

Park Su-hye (Hycora): Coding skills are essential these days, so join Hycora and gain a lot from the experience!
